Baby Eric and Emily

In anticipation of Z Baby joining us here in the outside world where we will no doubt be subjected to the first question everyone always asks about a newborn ("Who does she look like?"), we requested some pictures from our parents.

As newborns (Emily above, Eric below)
She should have plenty of hair!

Getting a little older (Emily above, Eric below)
Somebody apparently liked giving me a mohawk!

And older still (Emily above, Eric below)

And another thing we hadn't really thought about yet regarding this whole becoming a parent thing: Is it inevitable that our children will laugh at our hair, clothes, glasses, etc. every time they see a picture of us from around the time they were born?

Because we have to admit - we laugh. (hehehe, Sorry Dads! )

I don't know what's so funny. I thought I looked a little like Tom Selleck in that shot! :)

It is so much fun to look at old pictures. Despite the change in styles, it is nice to see pictures of family members I was never able to appreciate - like my grandmother who died when I was 2. Pictures are all to remember some by.

Emily: This problem has been solved for you with online technology! Just go to http://www.vw.com/vwhype/babymaker/en/us/ and you'll be able to see EXACTLY what baby Z will look like. Please post the result!

Colojo,

Oh, don't make me do that again! I tried a while back and was thoroughly frightened! ;)
