We laugh a lot, travel as often as we can, and try to enjoy every moment of the craziness that is our lives. Thanks for joining us on the journey!

My parents always referred to this look as "Fred Flintstone Face". (Yes, she is now enjoying pureed roasted pumpkin . . . along with her avocado and banana these days. This weekend we're going to try out papaya!)
Ian is giving me a hard time. He'll enjoy his food once or maybe twice a week ... the other days ... well, let's just say it's a battle! Are you preparing Gabriella's food? Or buying it?
Vivi, I'm sure Ian will come around. Eventually we all eat real food! ;)
With the plentiful and inexpensive fresh fruits and veggies available to me here, I just make all of Gabriela's food. I spent an afternoon a couple weeks ago making (and freezing portion-size) purees from greenbeans, carrots, pumpkin, apples, and pears. Avocado, papaya, and banana I just feed her directly. Although she'll eat any of it, she actually seems to prefer the slightly more textured stuff - not the purees! A great site for ideas is http://www.homemade-baby-food-recipes.com/index.html
Since she is Brasilian and all, I have plans to make some homemade brown rice cereal and mash up some beans for her before too long. hehehe
