We laugh a lot, travel as often as we can, and try to enjoy every moment of the craziness that is our lives. Thanks for joining us on the journey!

REALLY?? I thought for SURE, you would have had the baby this weekend! So much for the birthday baby huh?? Well good luck! I just know it's going to be ANY minute...or the minute you let your guard down ;)
Aww! Do you have a point in mind where you might be convinced to be induced? We just went for a walk down the avenida and Mr. DRL was asking about you and if you'd had the baby yet.
Hi Emily, I feel your pain. I was 8 days past my due date with my Emily when they induced me. They broke my water and put me on a petocin drip. She was born 8 hours later. The days from August 4 (my due date) to August 12 (her birthday) were the longest of my life. You have a right to be whiney. Hang in there. It's all worth it.
My all-time pet peeve from four healthy, full-term pregnancies was this: You STILL haven't had that baby! After a few suns had risen and set after my due date, I was envisioning really ugly things to do to the next person that said that. It helped to fantasize.
But, I agree. Those were the LONGEST days of the whole nine months.
May God bless Mama and Daddy and Baby Z. You'll forget this trauma the minute she's in your arms.
To distract you, I found a Brazilian version of Eric online: I think this guy looks somewhat similar to your husband, Emily! I found this picture today and wanted to share it.

Please don't hate me if you think it doesn't look anything like him. . .
Thanks for all the kind words and prayers! She'll get here eventually (I'm told) but wow the wait is tough! As long as everyone stays healthy I don't want to induce before 42 weeks . . . as of today (Monday) we're 41 weeks and 2 days.
Dianne, thanks so much for the laugh!
And Mei, oh my gosh, that is too funny! It does look A LOT like Eric! I have a picture of him with his hair combed over like that just playing around and yep, they could totally be related!!! (Unfortunately, I have been forbidden from sharing it with everyone. hehehe)

Wow! Still no baby?!?!
It will be over soon enough, and (so I'm told) you'll be wishing for a quiet night of just the two of you.
