I think I learned more about the petroleum industry (they were from Petrobras) than they did English!! Glad you had such a good time, although what a grueling schedule!! Mine only went until 6pm and totally wore me out!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3948677340500742474.post-23570390156440851252008-08-03T14:17:00.000-05:002008-08-03T14:17:00.000-05:00Bru hun, stop being a suck up. I was just saying ...Bru hun, stop being a suck up. I was just saying I agree with Emily that in the US people IN GENERAL don't have interest in learning foreign languages. That's all.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3948677340500742474.post-21722141729215728252008-08-03T06:27:00.000-05:002008-08-03T06:27:00.000-05:00oh, easy paulo... that was a little hmmm... unnece...oh, easy paulo... that was a little hmmm... unnecessary. People are allowed to be interested in what they want. To me, this whole "americans don't care about the rest of the world" is simply an inferiority complex. Who cares if nobody is interested in brazilian/french/german culture? Their loss if they're not, good if they are. People should just open their minds and stop worrying about not being noticed by others. And that includes you. Why would you care if Americans or any other person in the world does not care about other cultures?
SORRY EMILY.
Now to your post, I totally agree with you, maids are not expensive and should be a HUGE help to you. Trying to make yourself into 5 to handle house/husband/work is not worth it. Talk with your neighbors, I am sure they must have a trusting person to help you!Bruna @ [Run, Forrest!
